About

Statistics prove that children between 6 – 10 years old have the ability to dream and when they are faced with the question, what do you want to be when you grow up? They answer: pilot, arquitect, fireman, soccer player, astronaut, pastor, Singer, etc.

Sadly, when children living in extreme poverty are faced with the same question, they don´t posses the ability of dreaming, they hide their faces and change the subject.

One for Others through workshops were we teach values and principles, charitable campaigns and an orphanage “HOPE HOUSE” seeks to remind our children that they are not forgotten.

Our desire is to restore their dreams and sow dignity into the lives of our children. We believe that if they grow in health and knowledge, they will become strong leaders that will make an impact in this nation.

It is here where the choice of one can change the lives of many others.

Our Vision

Our visión is to reach as many children as we can in every location of extreme poverty where the need is abundant.

There are more tan 800,000 children uneducated in Perú. More tan 85% of them are in this condition due to poverty and health problems. Fortunately, this terrible reality can change.

We believe that when we meet their basic needs such as education, housing, food, health, and most importantly teach them values and principles, we are helping them grow stronger in life. We also develop programs that empower parents to a better parenting because we understand how big of a roll they play in their lives.

Our goal is to form leaders that will improve the future of our nation. Not only their lives, but also the lives of many children coming after them will be forever changed.

This is where YOU come in…

Are you ready to help us change a child’s life, empower them to dream and let them know they are not forgotten?

Projects

One for Others has several ongoing projects throughout the year that help address the needs that children living in extreme poverty fase every day. These fixed anual events are allowing us to impact the lives of many through a simple act of kindness and love.

We provide backpacks full of school supplies to more tan 5,000 students every year. Our annual goal is 5,000 backpacks and we have plans to expand. This meets an inmediate need that also allows us to build relationships with the schools allowing us teach our values / principles program throughout the entire year.

Every year, we gather more tan 10,000 mothers and celebrate them as women. We are able to give them a gift and make them feel loved and appreciated. Through this event we not only give the mothers the ability to dream, but we provide workshops that teach them life and parenting skills that enable them to have a more successful life.

Our Children´s Day is a block party where we gather thousands of children and their families to show them love and appreciation. We desire to show them that they have not been forgotten. We offer the workshops that help them understand that they were created with a purpose and can aspire to greatness.

Our social reality is that today in Perú many youth and teenagers (about 70%) due to making bad decisions get themselves involved in risky situations where their lives and health is compromised, to the point of even death. Situations like gang activity, abortions, sex, drugs, alcohol, among others, destroy their future, consume their lives, and lead them to terrible and devastating consequences.

One for Others through “INFERNA” (House of Horror) seeks to draw the attention of young people by showing them where their decisions will lead them. Forcing them to fase their future and giving them the option to reflect and reconsider in which direction they want to take their lives.

Hope House is our home for at risk and abandoned girls from various regions of Perú.

All of the girls that are currently residing at Hope House come from difficult situations such as sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and violence, but we are convinced that their past does not have to define their future. All of the girls in our care find a home, a family, and a place to receive love. They also are given Access to schooling, have regular meetings with qualified social workers and counselors as they move toward healing and restoration.

At Hope House, the girls learn that they don´t need to be defined by their past, but rather they can be confident in their identify as children of God.
